About

Meet Alex Tripoli, LCSW 103914

A male sex therapist who uses a sex-positive approach to help you feel seen, heard, and understood.

My Story

Why I do this work

I’m Alex Tripoli, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 103914-Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences). I founded East Los Angeles Sex Therapy to give clients a judgment-free space to explore sex, intimacy, and relationships. Since earning my Master's in Social Work from USC in 2017, I've spent my career dedicated to mental health in both nonprofit and private practice settings. I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life: Different ages, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses.

In the course of my work, I’ve learned one essential truth: no matter who you are or where you’ve been, we all crave love and human connection. But sex and relationships are complicated. Often, the struggles we’re experiencing in other parts of our lives manifest in how we relate to our loved ones. My mission is simple – I want to help you navigate those struggles so that you can heal your most important relationships and have a wonderful sex life.

In our work together, you are the expert in your own experience. This principle shapes everything I do. My approach isn’t one size fits all. I draw on a wealth of different modalities tailored to you. The result is compassionate therapy that honors the whole you.
